89PRODUCE's Craft IP Tamanchu! celebrates its first anniversary on August 9, 2026.
To mark the occasion with everyone who has supported the series—and to welcome readers discovering it for the first time—we are holding the Tamanchu! National Summer Book Report Contest 2026.
Contest overview
- Entry period: August 9–31, 2026
- Eligible work: Any part of the Tamanchu! novel published by the time of entry
- Theme: Open. Write about a favorite chapter, character, memorable scene, or the work as a whole
Entries may be as short or as long as you like, and each person may submit more than one.
How to enter
On X, follow Shuhei Yamaguchi (@89PRODUCE) and post your thoughts with both #たまんちゅ夏感想文2026 and #たまんちゅ. Those who do not use X may enter through the 89PRODUCE submission form.
Awards and prizes
Awards include the Grand Prize for the Most Passionate Book Report, Character Appreciation Award, Most Memorable Scene Award, Summer Snapshot Award, and the Shuhei Yamaguchi Special Award. Prizes include a first-anniversary muffler towel, acrylic stands of Aria and Makoto, and limited first-anniversary cards.
